Michael Kelemen
1st Vice President (Union VP)

Sergeant Kelemen comes from a law enforcement family and has been a Texas Peace Officer since 2000. Sergeant Kelemen’s law enforcement career has been a plethora of experiences including street patrol, criminal investigations, street crimes, narcotics task force, SWAT, K9 division and instructor.  
Sergeant Kelemen holds a Master Peace Officer certification, Basic Instructor Proficiency certification, Firearms Instructor Proficiency certification, Shoot House Instructor certification, Basic and Advanced SWAT certifications, Tactical Team Leader certifications, Less Lethal and Chemical Munitions Instructor, Impact Weapon Proficiency certification, Certified K9 Handler, Field Training Officer and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing certification.

Brad Macik
Board of Director

Lieutenant Brad Macik started his career with the city of Texas City in 2007 working in the city jail and serving as a reserve police officer. In November 2008, Lieutenant Brad Macik was hired as a full-time police officer. Since then, Lieutenant Brad Macik has achieved an advanced police officer certification and was promoted to his current position in 2023. Lieutenant Brad Macik is our Major Accident Investigators Supervisor, Chairman of Risk Analysis Board and serves as one of our firearms instructors.  Lieutenant Brad Macik attended Tarleton State University, as well as College of the Mainland.

Lace Montgomery
Board of Director

Sergeant Montgomery obtained her Texas Commission on Law Enforcement certification through Alvin Community College in 2010. She began her tenure with the Texas City Police Department in 2014 and currently holds an Advanced Peace Officer License.
Throughout her career, Sergeant Montgomery has served as a K-9 Officer, Honor Guard member, and Field Training Officer. She has also assisted the Crime Suppression Unit and received the Life Saving Award in 2020.
Sergeant Montgomery has a strong interest in mental health–related calls for service, with an emphasis on de-escalation and community-centered response. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, caring for her chickens and geese, and spending time with her family.
Sergeant Montgomery is currently assigned to the Patrol Division and is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice through East Texas A&M University, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027.
